Conducting debut in Tucson

I’ve dabbled in conducting before, having done lots of backstage and banda work, and I’ve conducted an orchestra briefly in a pit a few times while the real conductor is out in the hall listening. This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to rehearse with an orchestra, and the process has been illuminating and enjoyable. I look forward to conducting scenes from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Händel’s Giulio Cesare and Acis and Galatea with the UA Philharmonic on Tuesday, November 28 at 7:30pm in Crowder Hall, Fred Fox School of Music.
